SPECIAL PROJECTS |
|
Dear Co-laborers,
Friends of our ministry often ask if there is
a special project or need at Regeneration that they can be praying
for or assisting with through a designated gift of support. This
section of our web site is dedicated to communicating the various
needs in our ministry in which you are invited to assist.
We have some ongoing projects like the
evangelistic videos that we hope to be able to duplicate in
quantity. This is an opportunity for individuals, Sunday School
classes, or children' groups to help with gifts large or
small.
We also have some one time needs that will
only be posted until the need is met. We will keep these needs up to
date and let you know when a designated gift has met a particular
need.
You are invited to team up with us regarding
these needs to the glory of God!
Thank you!

SPECIAL PROJECT:
EVANGELISTIC VIDEOS
Don and Betty Ross, Christian film makers and
special friends through the
years, have been used of the Lord to spread the Gospel through
evangelistic videos in many languages around the world. We have
collaborated on several projects geared to reaching Native Americans
for Christ. The Rosses and Harvest Productions have been gracious to
make the masters for these videos available at no charge to enable
duplication for distribution in the reservation communities at no
charge to the recipients. Any gifts toward the expenses to get these
Christian films into Native homes, tribal jails, schools, and
reservation libraries will be greatly appreciated. We are budgeting
a cost of $4.00 each to help cover the blank tape, duplication,
shipping, and outreach distribution expenses. We have already begun
distributing these tapes in the reservation communities with the
help of our teenagers in the summer missions teams. Please uphold
these labors in
prayer!The following are examples of
these videos:
TELLING KELLI (NAVAJO)
The story of a deaf girl who comes to Christ through the
dedicated labors of a believer drawing pictures of God's plan of
salvation. We were privileged to assist Don Ross with this
project at Pastor Harold Noble's church in 1994 where the Navajo
audio version was
recorded.
TELLING KELLI (APACHE)
The story of deaf girl who comes to Christ through the dedicated
labors of a believer drawing pictures of God's plan of
salvation. [ The Apache audio version was recorded in 2000 with
the assistance of Apache believers at Regeneration Baptist
Church.]
NAVAJO
REDEMPTION
The life story of Navajo Pastor Harold Noble, founder of the
Navajo Bethel Baptist Church, who came to Christ from a
background of Native tradition and alcohol. [Filmed on location
on the Navajo reservation with members of Harold's family and
church portraying key characters. Our Regeneration missionary
and summer staff were privileged to assist with this project
during the summer of 2004. This film is now being distributed.
APACHE SALVATION
This video shares the simple plan of salvation through various
Apache believers for Apache viewers. This video has been
distributed in several reservation communities and we have
received very good responses.
NAVAJOS SHARE THEIR HEARTS
This evangelistic video, similar to the Apache version, presents
the Gospel through the testimonies of Navajo believers. It is
being distributed as an evangelistic tool used by Native
believers and missionaries on several Indian reservations here
in the United States and the reserves in Canada.

SPECIAL PROJECT: CAMP
SCHOLARSHIPS
One of our philosophies of ministry is
the belief that when God calls a missionary to the field, He also
calls the missionary's family. Though missionary kids may not be
called to a vocation in missions as an adult, each member of the
missionary family has been allowed by a sovereign God to benefit
spiritually and contribute individually as part of the family team
in the cause of missions. Our MK's have been taught to serve
cheerfully and that such labors for our Lord are not a sacrifice.
This said, we are also looking for ways to honor their diligent
labors that are accomplished with proper motives. Enabling our
missionary staff kids the opportunity to go to camp has been a great
joy to them, and we have witnessed the spiritual and social
blessings that have been the result. The cost for a week of camp
varies but is typically around $200.00. |

SPECIAL PROJECT:
VISUALIZED SONGS
In both children's church and backyard Bible
Clubs in the reservation community, we are able to use new materials
in working with the children. Presently our visualized songs have
become worn and shabby over the years and are ready to be replaced.
Also, materials and hand outs using the Wordless Book are a great
help. Any gifts toward these needs are
appreciated!

SPECIAL PROJECT:
INMATE MATERIALS
In our tribal jail and detox center services
each week we are able to distribute evangelistic materials, Mailbox
Club Bible Course Lessons, and the Gospel of John and Romans
booklets. We have a special edition of the John and Romans that we
are able to purchase with a Native cover and a section on where to
find answers for life's questions on the inside. LIFT ministries is
networking with us to get these booklets at a very reasonable
cost. Getting biblical reading material into the hands and hearts of
the inmates is critical. We are budgeting for a cost of a dollar per
person to enable us to provide these materials.
